Refresher Retreat Day - Coming Unstuck and Creating the Life We Want to Live

Saturday May 13th 2023 - Refresher Retreat Day

Time: 10am - 4pm

Location: 80 Dundas St. E. Toronto ON. M5B 2P5

Dates: May 13th 2023

Price: OHIP covered. Please note participants are required to sign and honour the cancellation policy which requires 48hrs notice for cancellations for the retreat day.

Requirements for Participation: Participants are required to have completed or be currently enrolled in the Minding Your Inner Monkey workshop series.

Description:

Retreats, whether one day or several days, are a wonderful opportunity to step out of the fast pace of modern living and turn our attention inwards. Through periods of retreat, we begin to see more clearly the habitual thought and feeling patterns and distorted beliefs that we bring to our lives. This can help us to live more compassionately and consciously when we return to our regular schedules. Beyond this, through the silent practice of dwelling in present moment awareness, we may gain insight not only into our minds and lives but also into the fundamental nature of our being.

For this retreat I'm looking forward to sharing in a day of mostly silent practice during which time I will lead you in meditation and movement practices as well as periods of quiet, and creative reflection. We will be exploring the theme of coming unstuck and creating anew. In particular we'll be exploring how we can identify old beliefs we are getting stuck on and start to create new ones - this practice can bring us into a state of constant renewal. We will have a period at the end for connection and sharing.
